CARSINGTON WATER 4 Common Scoter on 6th July
WYVER LANE DWT RESERVE A Yellow Legged Gull on 8th July with a Greenshank and a Green Sandpiper on 9th July.
WILLINGTON GP A Greenshank and a Green Sandpiper on 7/8th July
RED KITES Single birds over Allestree on 9th July, Denby on 11th July, Hardwick Hall on 13th July, Horsley Woodhouse on 14th July and over the A38 at Alfreton and Ripley on 15th July.
CARR VALE DWT RESERVE 5 Curlew flew West on 1st July, 2 Siskin flew South on 2nd July, a Little Egret and a Hobby on 3rd July, a Red Kite flew North on 6yh July, a Grasshopper Warbler on 9th July with 4 Teal on 10th July, a Peregrine Falcon on 11th July with a 1st summer Great Black Backed Gull on 12th July, 2 Snipe on 14/15th July, a juv Little Egret on 15th July and a Cuckoo on 17th July. A Water Rail was present on several dates and up to 7 Common Terns present.
AMBASTON GRAVEL PITS A Green Sandpiper and a Redshank on 19th July.
