An interesting day; 2 Whimbrel and an Arctic Tern went through early a.m. and two Grasshopper Warblers were singing, one on the west bank and the other off the north end of WBCP. In the evening the small muddy patch to the left of the oaktree viewpoint held 10 Snipe, a Jack Snipe, 2 LRPlovers, 2 Oystercatchers, a Curlew, 4 male Yellow and 2 White Wagtails and another 1st W Little Gull had joined the 2 Common Terns out on the res. Ducks included 4 Gadwall, 7 Teal, 2 Mandarins and still 3 Goldeneye. 200+ hirundines included an apparently juvenile swallow.
