The Grasshopper Warbler was still singing on the west bank but proving typically elusive. The first Lesser Whitethroat was in the same general area between the hides in the morning but this was the only new bird with 2 Gadwall, 2 Mandarins, 3 Goldeneye still, a Peregrine, a Kingfisher, 4 Yellow Wags on WBCP in the evening and 11 Willow Warblers between WBCP and the south (fisherman’s) car park.
