Surprisingly the 3 first-winter Little Gulls and Arctic Tern were still here though difficult to see in the windy, sunny conditions. Quiet otherwise with no new summer visitors as yet, a male Blackcap sang briefly from the area of the public hide and 4 Willow Warblers were along the west bank. Also 2 Gadwall, at least 4 Goldeneye, 2 Oystercatchers and a single LRPlover seen, the reservoir being almost at full capacity now.
