The Ogston Bird Club Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday the 9th May at 7.30pm prompt. Once again, the Sailing Club are kindly making their premises available to us and the bar will be open for the purchase of drinks.

The business of the evening is relatively brief but very important and the club wishes to invite all members to attend. This gives you the chance to meet the club’s committee along with other other club members. It also gives you the opportunity to raise any matters you have.

After the business part of the evening, we have arranged for an illustrated lecture which is a must for any club member. Glyn Sellors will give a talk on Summer in Iceland and Norway. During the Iceland part of the talk you will hear about; Harlequin Ducks, Divers, Red Necked Phalaropes, Black Guillemots, Glaucus Gulls along with various waders. From Norway, you will be able to see Bluethroats, Long-Tailed Skuas, Temmincks Stints, Auks, Lapland Buntings, Ruffs etc.

Please do your best and come along to support your club.
